The Time To Go Solar Is Now.

The Inflation Reduction Act is a Game Changer.

The Inflation Reduction Act, signed into law by President Biden on Aug. 16, 2022, represents the largest federal investment to fight climate change in U.S. history.
Among other measures, the law offers financial incentives to consumers who buy high-efficiency appliances, purchase electric cars, or install rooftop solar panels.

Benefits Overview:

  • Tax incentives (PV Systems & batteries)
    • 30% base tax credit
    • +10% energy community
    • +10% low income community (commercial)
    • +10% US made products – min 40% US made – 100% US Steel
  • Tax Incentives now include battery systems
    • Now stand alone storage qualifies
    • Now we can add on to existing solar
    • Also qualifies for 30% tax credit
  • Direct Pay
    • Previous non-profits could not receive incentives
    • Now can take direct payment in lieu of tax credit
    • This opens up options for many new groups

Stabilize Volatile Energy Prices

We’ve all been affected by fluctuating energy prices and it’s been reflected on our utility bills.  But a solar system can help.

The Solution to Volatile Energy Prices

  • Solar can provide energy independence
    • Be less reliant on energy prices
    • Control the power you generate
  • Demand for Electric is Increasing
    • New focus on EV vehicles
    • Will likely continue to increase
    • Increased demand results in decreased supply

Achieve Your ESG Goals

Solar energy is a key component of achieving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals for businesses.

Environmental

From an environmental perspective, solar energy is a clean and renewable energy source that helps companies reduce their carbon footprint and decrease their reliance on fossil fuels. This contributes to the fight against climate change and helps protect the planet for future generations.

Social

Investing in solar energy can have a positive impact on local communities. Solar projects create jobs in the installation, maintenance, and operations of solar systems. In addition, many solar projects are built in disadvantaged or underserved communities, providing access to clean energy and economic opportunities for those communities.

Governance

Investing in solar energy can demonstrate a company’s commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices. By reducing their reliance on fossil fuels, companies can mitigate risks associated with volatile energy markets and potential regulatory changes. Furthermore, investing in solar energy can help companies meet their sustainability targets, which are increasingly important to stakeholders such as investors, customers, and employees.

Overall, solar energy is a powerful tool for achieving ESG goals, providing benefits not only for the environment but also for local communities and a company’s stakeholders.
